Brooke turns 4!

Brooke’s party was full of Hello Kitty themed balloons, party hats, gift bags, cupcakes, ice cream, plates and cups. Her cake was beautifully made & each little girl was given an aliceband & tiara hair clip… they also could have their nails painted in bright colours with stickers on! & topped off with a fun session in the pool. I think a great success, here are some images from her day.

birds of a feather…

This is a random post, a bit out of the ordinary. On our holiday road trip in Dec/Jan, we came across so may beautiful places. Some weird, some wonderful, but all new & exciting. It as an adventure. What I want to share first though is the bird life we came across… so many different types of birds. Here are a few I caught on camera.

The photo challenge this week on i heart faces is ‘family fun’. This was one from my last session of 2011… Mom & the kids were having some photos taken, and suddenly dad came and landed on top of them!

Paxton family photos

Natasha, my cousin, hired me long ago to take photos of their family when my aunt & uncle were in SA for Christmas, as they live in Australia. The last family photos they all had taken were before Tayla was born… and Tayla is now 4!

They set up the leather couch on the grass in the garden, and I love them for doing that! And Tash had organised their clothing colour combination beautifully!

Bryce turned 6!

Bryce had a sporting 6th birthday party! The kids had so much fun- kicking balls, doing obstacles, chasing each other, running away from “crocodiles” The party details were great and a lot of effort put in by his mom! Take a look at some of the detail and family photos…

This was a surprise photo session for Morné, as he lives in Johannesburg and his daughter lives here in PE. He hadn’t had some photos taken with her in a while, and the shoot was organised by his girlfriend as part of his Christmas present… sweet idea!

Tayla turns 4!

Tayla has turned 4. She was very excited about her ‘pony’ birthday party and immediately started showing me all the details when I arrived. The day was dreary, although not cold, but there were showers of rain off-and-on. Let me tell you, the rain did not stop these kids from enjoying the pony rides around the garden! They were all soaking wet, but all shy smiles and giggles.

And through all the rain, they huddled together to wait for their turn on the pony!
